E.DSO application for the Pact for Skills initiative, officially launched by the European Commission on 10 November 2020, has been accepted and is now published on the dedicated website.
The growing community of Pact for Skills aims to mobilise a concerted effort for quality investment in skills for all working age people across the Union by bringing together all stakeholders, private and public, which share the objective of up- and reskilling Europe’s workforce and facilitating public-private cooperation.
By signing the Charter, the members agree to respect the 4 below key principles:
- Promoting a culture of lifelong learning for all
- Building strong skills partnerships
- Monitoring skills supply/demand and anticipating skills needs
- Working against discrimination and for gender equality and equal opportunities
With this membership, E.DSO commits to take concrete action for the upskilling and reskilling of people of working age, by getting inspired by initiatives of large-scale partnerships and by direct information on relevant EU existing financial instruments with this aim.
