Emergency and Restoration network code – EDSO response to ENTSO-E public consultation
On December 8th 2014, EDSO for Smart Grids, in cooperation with other associations, released a joint response to ENTSO-E public consultation on the Emergency and Restoration (ER) network code. The paper provides input on several aspect of the code, and encourages ENTSO-E to:
- Ensure consistency with previous network codes and use unambiguous wording
- Set the foundation for more cooperation between TSOs and DSOs when preparing and executing defence plans
- Reconsider the need for new requirements for type A generators
- Remove specific compliance testing procedures as they depend on the equipment considered and should be decided at National level
