E.DSO welcomes the Commission’s publication of the Fit for 55 package as a tool to equip the EU’s economy for the transition to climate neutrality. The proposals are very important for DSOs which will be at the forefront of an integrated and decentralised energy system which relies on renewables and places the customer at its centre.
As the trusted voice of European DSOs, E.DSO prepared in partnership with its members and published a response to the feedback consultation organised by the European Commission.
The response concerns four of the legislative files:
- The Energy Efficiency Directive
- The Renewable Energy Directive
- The Regulation on Alternative Fuels Infrastructure
- The Revision of the Emissions Trading Scheme
