European DSOs’ engagement during the Covid-19 crisis
For weeks, the Covid-19 epidemic has been impacting our life, both at a personal and professional level. In order to ensure the continuity of power supply all over Europe and to allow countries to keep operating, Distribution System Operators (DSOs) have been taking unprecedent measures to keep lights on.
E.DSO is organising regular calls among its Members to allow them to update each other on the best practices adopted in the current context. Crisis plans were brought together and experiences and knowledge were shared in order to protect at best employees, customers and contractors.
E.DSO is also in contact with DG Energy to keep the Commissioner informed and updated about DSOs’ joint efforts and engagement to guarantee the provision of electricity during this crisis.
