In the endeavour of increasing the resilience of their overhead medium voltage network, E-REDES has developed Analytics4Vegetation to support a more proactive and preventive approach to vegetation management. Using artificial intelligence models, this solution centralises data from various sources, forecasts vegetation growth, and enhances automation by creating and assigning maintenance orders.
By adopting the Analytics4Vegetation solution, E-REDES reduced the necessary personnel effort by 80% and generated around €1M/year savings thanks to the early detection of necessary vegetation-cutting actions. At the same time, the solution guarantees greater network safety and biodiversity protection.
